Can your existing firebox take gas logs? That is the first question, and it gets answered on a ladder, not in a catalog. Pre-1960 Lakeland and Bartow homes usually have open masonry fireplaces with clay tile liners. Many are unlined or the tile has deteriorated. A vented set in a flue like that needs the liner condition documented first. Spalling brick and efflorescence outside often mean water is already moving through the stack.
